Jonah and Sarah Jackson are owners and teachers of Acting All Around.
They both began theatre at a young age. Jonah is a middle Tennessee native and Sarah has lived in the area for over ten years. After all their experiences in the industry they saw a deep need for high quality acting classes that function for the busy family. Enter… Acting All Around. Their vision is to create approachable, personal, and engaging classes that pull the best out of every student and create a supportive life changing community.
“Sarah and Jonah Jackson compose one of the tightest artistic teams in Nashville. They flow with creative energy, optimistic spirits, and a determined work ethic. We have seen them grow as artists and people these past eight years, and they have shown themselves reliable and dedicated at every turn. Everyone who works with them wants to work with them again. They are excellent with children, connecting with them at their individual levels and learning styles. We could not be more proud of who they are and what they do to make Nashville a better place.”
- Beki Baker, Chair of the Lipscomb Department of Theatre.
The two college sweethearts graduated from Lipscomb University Department of Theatre and have been performing and teaching professionally for over four years. You may have seen Jonah or Sarah performing at The Nashville Shakespeare Festival, Studio Tenn, The Nashville Rep, and The Nashville Children’s Theatre.
The two have been teachers for the Nashville Shakespeare Festival and taught in high schools and middle schools across middle Tennessee. Jonah currently is a professional puppeteer for the Nashville Library and Wishing Chair Productions. Sarah was an intern with the Florida Repertory Theatre. During her time in Florida she taught workshops, choreographed their children’s musical, and performed to over 25,000 students in southwest Florida.
One of their career highlights has been performing and educating with Backlight Productions in Franklin TN for over 3 years. Teaching in the special needs community and sharing the stage with these students has developed their communication skills and strengthened their appreciation for the arts.
"Sarah & Jonah Jackson are gifted instructors with both skill and comfortability working with artists of all abilities and personalities.
